Wow! What a great last seven days it’s been for me and hopefully all of you. I was out of the country last week. The night of the election I was clustered with fellow patriots glued to the boob tube watching the results coming in. In the absence of the outcome being declared I headed off to sleep land around midnight. Waking up the next morning I hit the remote and was more than pleased with the news of the political earthquake. We the People and our man Donald Trump delivered a long overdue good ole American ass kicking to Hillary and the left wing of the Democratic party! Out-Frickin Standing!
I received in an email last Friday stating; “Congratulations! Your book is a runner up in the 2016 Shelf Unbound Best Indie Book Competition.” The Shelf Unbound Best Indie Book Competition is a literary contest held annually. As this is my first novel it is gratifying to be acknowledged by a peer group but the comments that mean the most to me are the ones that come from you, the reader!
And here’s a follow up on my last bit of Hollywood news. Late yesterday I received the 1st draft of the screen play to Citizen Warrior The 4th Branch. I have to admit I was concerned about what the producer and writer would do with the adaptation of my novel…. concerns eased! The screen play went beyond my expectations; I couldn’t put it down! Let’s hope when it goes to market in the entertainment industry in mid-January others have the same reaction. I’ll keep you posted.
