About Author J. Thomas Rompel
J. Thomas Rompel lives in Tucson, Arizona and knows first-hand the threats and dangers that exist from a porous American border. He’s inspired by true events and real people.
After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, he was involved with a business that dealt with the U.S. military and law enforcement both at the local and federal levels, including Border Patrol agents in the Tucson Sector. His regular contact with agents in the field provided an inside look at how enemies, both foreign and domestic, wish to wreak havoc on American soil.
His novels seem real because he lives so close to the action where national headlines occur every day.
J. Thomas Rompel’s first book, Citizen Warrior – 4th Branch, was Runner-Up for the 2016 Shelf Unbound Best Indie Book Award.
His second book, Citizen Warrior – One Down, is the powerful sequel that readers cannot put down.
