Recent trip to Hollywood

I was in Hollywood over the weekend working with Voyage Media and producers on the development of, Citizen Warrior The 4th Branch. It’s currently being adapted as a screen play and will go out to the Entertainment industry by the middle of January, 2017. They are excited and optimistic about my project as I am a fresh voice in the industry with a story that is timely and long overdue.

It’s being adapted as a feature film, written for a couple of “A” list actors. This is a new world to me. So far I’m enjoying the ride. While many in Hollywood are liberal and wouldn’t touch a project like mine, they’re a number of studio’s in the industry that will.

A well-known and respected producer who is overseeing my project explained that Hollywood has been greatly under-serving a huge market in the country. He pointed out successful and profitable films to underline his point;

American Sniper, Lone Survivor, Act of Valor
and the recent, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

We have a way to go but if the “politically incorrect” angels are smiling on us, Citizen Warrior The 4th Branch will make it onto the silver screen. I’ll be posting updates as the project moves along. One foot in front of the other!

In the meantime, I’m chugging along on the sequel. Will share about the progress in my next post.
