Doldrums?

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged about anything, been focused on the sequel toCitizen Warrior The 4th Branch. I’m more than happy to say a couple of days ago I successfully completed my brain dump onto paper or should I say the hard drive. I’m taking a few days off and beginning of next week I’ll begin editing which is my favorite part of the process. So you could say, or it’s not to say that I’m not saying that by choice, I’ve put myself in the writers doldrums for a few days.

Just as Citizen Warrior The 4th Branch was my first book; the sequel is something I’ve never done before either. Ahh…the learning curve of transitioning from whatever I was doing in life before to becoming a successful author.

I have to admit creating a story, maybe gives me a bit of insight of what it must be like for a woman to give birth. Push, push, push, breathe, push…..

As many of you know I’m inspired by real events and real people. I started on the path for the sequel last fall before the presidential election of 2016. It wasn’t until after the election of Donald Trump did I begin to think about what effect a Trump like president might have on my characters and their world. Let’s face it, if Hillary had been elected we’d be in a different kind of world than we find ourselves today. (Lock her up, lock her up!)

This I promise you; my commitment to you, my readers, is to give you another equally if not greater gripping novel that will keep you awake at night and make you proud to be the American Citizen Warrior that you are.
