A book cover suddenly catches his eye in BOOTH 219. He stops, riveted by the cover’s design and the title: . He flips through a few pages and notices he’s having an intimate conversation with author David Collis. Meanwhile, Carter Thompson, the citizen warrior from J. Thomas Rompel’s book accidentally brushes Jesus’ shoulder. Both turn to each other. Jesus says, “Brother, follow me and I’ll show you the Father” to which Carter unflinchingly responds, “Brother, join me and we’ll fight evil together.”
