It’s been more than a week since the conclusion of the Tucson Festival of Books. It was my first experience there. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Along with the selling lots of copies of Citizen Warrior – The 4th Branch, came the opportunity to meet and talk with many smart and interesting people. The enthusiasm for the entire series was gratifying to me. Maybe that’s what happens when you mix our concerns for an unsecured southern border complete with Mexican cartels and Islamic terrorists coming across.
It’s one of the reasons that inspired me to commit to writing my trilogy. The number one responsibility of our government is protect the citizens of the United States against enemies foreign and domestic; they’re failing miserably at doing so.
So what might happen when you mix some retired special forces guys with everyday citizens who’ve had enough of the government’s lack on protection for the people of our great country? Book 2, Citizen Warrior – One Down, has our team of citizen warriors zeroed and locked in on thwarting the clear and present dangers we are faced with today.
What is the story line you might ask in book 2? Stay tuned. You’ll know when I release it along with the third and final novel in the Citizen Warrior series. Expect both of them in the fall of this year.
