The 4th of July is one of my all-time favorite holidays. As a youngster growing up I was enthralled by fireworks displays…. couldn’t get enough of the aerial bombs. Great time and still is.
I’ll be heading south across the line again fairly soon. Field research time. I’m interested in seeing how the Mexican government is coming along in thwarting the endless parade of people heading our way. Will it cause a problem for Juan Ortiz, the head of the Magdalena Cartel?
Got to hand it to Trump for shaking up the new Mexican president with the threat of tariffs. “When you got them by the short hairs the hearts and minds will always follow.”
